Women are at greater risk to blood loss during their period, which decreases iron levels and most women don’t even know they are iron deficient. This then causes- most commonly- fatigue, weakness, dizziness, cold hands & feet, and headaches. If iron deficiency becomes severe enough, it can even lead to death, but only in extreme cases. Iron deficiency and not knowing your iron levels leads to one feeling worse overall without knowing how to solve it. This design is a non-invasive, at-home iron level testing device that allows the user to test their iron levels anywhere and anytime, while also educating the user on how to safely improve their iron levels in order to live a healthier and better feeling life on and off their period.

Origins in Chinese history & used by the elite to keep skin beautiful and women ageless. “Stone of Heaven”, jade is a sought after naturally cool, green stone. The Lymphatic System circulates lymph, a colorless fluid containing white blood cells, which bathes the tissues and drains through the lymphatic system into the bloodstream. Lymph does not always drain properly, causing them to become congested/swollen, which can cause: clogged pores, acne, slowed healing, dull/dehydrated/puffy skin. Jade rollers can significantly increase blood vessel dilation and can increase skin blood flow of around 25% for 10 or so minutes after the massage. It is also good for evening skin tone, and for cooling and calming the skin and allows access into muscles and tissues with a more effective pressure than just your hands, while being safe and gentle. The tilting interchangeable heads allow for even greater and lasting effects depending on the massage you need.

Most museums only have overhead lights that are built into the ceiling. This would act as a piece of architecture that complements the building it is made for, rather than as an afterthought like these overhead lights are. This lamp is inspired by the Ordos Art and City Museum in China in the middle of the Gobi desert. The main atrium in the entryway has a large emphasis on the stairs as part of its architecture, and the layers are meant to represent this. The museum’s architecture takes on the style of blobism, which is why the layers are ovular shapes. The light will change depending on time of day- white in the morning, yellow in the mid-day; orange and reds in the evening and night to reflect the sand that surrounds the museum and color of light given off by the sun, but can be changed to any color in case of an occasion or event.
