Our project work spans the gamut from autonomous interiors, new control systems to personal mobility. Fielding both sponsored reserach work as well as futuring our own conceptual designs, we seek to understand and evolve transportation designs for the service of society.
Sponsored Research
Level 5 Autonomous Interior
The lab created an level 5 autonomous interior concept where all functions of the vehicle were adapted to two haptic programmable knobs. Further, the lab designed and patented a tactile control language around an augmented reality windshield.
L2/L3 ADAS Usability Study
Our lab worked with Hyundai America Technical Center (HATCI) to understand the Ioniq 6's L2/L3 ADAS (Driver Assist) usability and driver confidence measures.
