People with visual impairment (PVI) struggle with reliably finding their rideshare vehicles. They have anxiety around getting into the wrong car, wandering aimlessly looking for their vehicle, and being dropped off at the wrong destination. These fears are compounded with the possibility of autonomous rideshare vehicles because one key fallback PVI currently rely on is asking the driver for help. FARDOT is here to solve this problem.
Little Forager's Kit - Third Place
Claudia Ross
Kids spend too much time indoors. They can identify logos but not fruits and vegetables. The Little Forager's Kit changes that narrative by facilitating a healthy interaction with kids and the natural floral and fauna surrounding them. The kit allows kids to identify wild herbs, collect them, and preserve them.
