Biography

David Lynn is an experienced automotive designer with over a decade of expertise in endurance racing prototypes and sports racing cars. His notable achievements include designing the Kudzu that carried Wayne Taylor to victory in the inaugural IMSA WSC Championship in 1994. Lynn also designed three Kudzu vehicles that competed at Le Mans, one of which won the LMP2 class in 1996. Throughout his career, Lynn has demonstrated proficiency in communication, creativity, and concept development. In recent years, he has shifted his focus towards teaching industrial design and utilizing his writing skills. Lynn continues to apply his broad skill set and share his passion for automotive design.

Since 2003 Lynn has been one of the primary organizers of the annual Georgia Tech Auto Show. Since 2023 Lynn has directed the College of Design Pre-College Summer Camp for Industrial Design, introducing approximately 60 high school students each summer to the fascinating world of industrial design.
