  • 1998 - 2001: PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering. Texas A&M University. Major focus on human factors, usability, biomechanics, statistics, and experimental design.
  • 1995 - 1997: Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene. Texas A&M University. Thesis topic: Design of software for advanced industrial hygiene data analyses. Studies included biochemistry, chemical safety, radiation safety, microbiology, toxicology, ventilation engineering. 
  • 1990 - 1995: Bachelor of Science degree in Bioenvironmental Science. Texas A&M University. Student member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals.
Biography

Gordon A. Vos, Ph.D., is a key figure at NASA's Johnson Space Center and a faculty member at both Georgia Tech and the University of Houston. At NASA, he leads Testing and Evaluation of Human Interfaces for the Human Landing System (HLS) and serves as the Human Factors Technical Discipline Lead. His work spans crucial NASA programs including HLS, Gateway, Commercial Crew, and Orion. Vos's expertise extends to collaborations with the US Department of Defense and major corporations. He holds a doctorate in Engineering from Texas A&M University and teaches courses in human factors, human-centered design, and experimental design. His research interests include data mining, 3D-Space Utilization Systems, and lunar rover motion simulation, reflecting his commitment to advancing human-centered technologies in space exploration.
