Thomas W. Clifton, V is an educator, product designer, and entrepreneur dedicated to bridging creativity, technology, and education. He is the founder of The Design Library, an innovation studio and learning platform that helps people move ideas from concept to prototype through design thinking and hands-on experimentation.
A University Innovation Fellow at the Stanford d.school, Thomas integrates human-centered design and entrepreneurial strategy into his teaching at Georgia Tech, where he guides students in applying design to real-world challenges. With a background in Mechanical Engineering Technology (NJIT) and a Master’s in Industrial Design (Georgia Tech), he brings an interdisciplinary approach that connects engineering precision with design creativity.
Thomas has founded and mentored successful startups in product design and innovation education, and has led workshops across the U.S., Africa, and the Caribbean to build global pathways for emerging designers and entrepreneurs.
