I was tasked with creating a drinking vessel geared towards a particular liquid, activity, holding position, or social commentary. I curated towards my vessel to be made for tea, inspired by ancient Chinese bronze ware, allowing for the user to be able to perform a miniature tea ceremony if they so desired.

A case study with Shiseido to design a pop-up installation for the Changi Airport to attract new and existing customers for a new 2020 campaign and highlight the Ultimune product. Worked as a vertically integrated team, alongside Shiseido brand representatives, to develop a welcoming space for the users, creating personas to help determine the pop-up’s aesthetics.

Researched, designed, and developed a meat packaging styrofoam alternative using an Aareca palm leaf sheath. Created numerous samples by laminating various ply combinations. Supported our design decisions with (1) mechanical tests to find potential weaknesses, and (2) contamination experiments to ensure no mold would form from the moisture of the product.
