The objective of this project was to research Electrolux branding and to design a writing instrument that both fits the brand’s user needs and reflects the brand’s visual language.

This writing instrument for Electrolux is a sharpie that is restyled to fit into the brand visual language of Electrolux. Besides, this writing instrument also includes a pocket thermometer at the other end of the sharpie. The reason of choosing a sharpie and a pocket thermometer as the features of this writing instrument it to favor one of its brand users -professional chefs- while also make this writing instrument more representative to its brand.

KONO

KONO

The objective of this project was to research the area of houseware and design a variable product which fits curtain users’ needs while also develop a brand come with the product.

The final concept of this project is a Japanese handsaw kit with the brand named KONO. The handsaw includes 5 different types of Japanese handsaws, 2 handles in different sizes, and a toolbox. The handsaws are designed to be blade-removeable. Each handsaw blade comes a blade adaptor to fit into the 2 handles. The overall appearance of the handsaw kit is styled to celebrate the beauty and simplicity of the Japanese woodworking.

MOMO

MOMO

The objective of this project was to research and understand the brand of MOMO and design a wheel for certain types of vehicle that fits the MOMO brand while also capable of competing in the market for the next 2-3 years.

The wheel is designed mostly for racing hobbyists and car modifiers. The users who enjoy the idea of racing while also would like to add some stylish touches to their vehicles. The wheel will target on modern performance cars in the market. More specifically, it is designed to fit two-seater sports cars, sport sedans, mid-engine supercars, and performance focused GT cars. The inspiration of the wheel comes from GT3 race cars. The concept was initially a GT3 race car’s wheel; then modified to fit street wheel regulation; and finally restyled to make it suitable to modern vehicles. The manufacturing process of this wheel will be forging.
